The early poetic exercises, sketches, and essays of the well-known writer Rahmat Fayziy were published on the pages of newspapers, and his pen became sharper with each passing year. Rahmat Fayziy was awarded the honorary titles of "Honored Art Worker of Uzbekistan," "People's Writer of Uzbekistan," and "Honored Cultural Worker of the Polish People's Republic." A number of the writer's works have been translated into Russian and other fraternal languages.

Biography

The well-known writer Rahmat Fayziy was born in 1918 in the Beshyog'och district of Tashkent into a craftsman's family. He finished middle school and studied at an electro-mechanical technical school. Later, he worked in republican newspapers and editorial offices.

His early poetic exercises, sketches, and essays were published on the pages of newspapers, and his pen became sharper with each passing year.

In 1969, in his novel "Hazrati Inson," Rahmat Fayziy showed the heroism of ordinary people through the lives of blacksmith Mahkam ota and Mehriniso opa.

Rahmat Fayziy worked at the "O'zbekfilm" film studio from 1962 to 1965. Films based on his screenplays "Sen yetim emassan" (1962) and "Yor-yor" made a significant contribution to the development of national Uzbek cinema. Especially the film shot based on the writer's screenplay "Sen yetim emassan" was screened in a number of foreign countries and was well-received by audiences.

Rahmat Fayziy was awarded the honorary titles of "Honored Art Worker of Uzbekistan," "People's Writer of Uzbekistan," and "Honored Cultural Worker of the Polish People's Republic." A number of the writer's works have been translated into Russian and other fraternal languages. During the peaceful years of construction after the Second World War, the writer became known to the public with collections of short stories, sketches, and novellas such as "To'y to'yonasi" (1951), "Cho'lga bahor keldi" (1951), dedicated to the youth reclaiming the Mirzacho'l steppe, "Povest va hikoyalar" (1954), and "Shohi darparda" (1958). The author's stories such as "Tekin muzqaymoq," "Mening bobom," "Cho'ntak," and "Nafisa" serve to educate children in a national spirit.

Rahmat Fayziy was awarded the honorary titles of "Honored Art Worker of Uzbekistan," "People's Writer of Uzbekistan," and "Honored Cultural Worker of the Polish People's Republic." A number of the writer's works have been translated into Russian and other fraternal languages.

Rahmat Fayziy passed away in the autumn days of 1988.
